Scott Stapp Sings New Florida Marlins Song

While the Florida Marlin’s Home Opener Friday, April 9th at Sun Life Stadium didn’t go exactly planned (The Marlins lost 7-3 to the Los Angeles Dodgers), Creed Frontman Scott Stapp was on hand to sing the National Anthem and World Premiere his new song “Marlins Will Soar”. I was there to cover it… and cover myself in peanuts. Check out the video!

This is pure gold. I can’t believe it’s real and it is now my favorite ammo for making fun of my friends who are Marlins fans.
Two other things:
1) Do you think Stapp talks like he sings? Dowble Pleey?
2) It sounds like he’s saying “with a little faith and luck, you will suck.” Sorry that’s kinda what it sounds like.
