Matisyahu Explains Why He Lost The Beard

Matisyahu recently surprised everyone when he tweeted a photo of himself cleanly shaven. He made vague references to some sort of transformation but didn’t really elaborate on what drove him to make such a major lifestyle change. Because with a guy like Matisyahu, it wasn’t just facial hair, it was a representation of all that went along with the strict form of Judaism that he was practicing.
Matisyahu recently spoke to Rolling Stone magazine and discussed what led him to make such a change.
